Memories of treasures lost

Bryce 7 Pro:

When I was just a little boy,
I got so much happiness and joy,
from the simple gift of a tiny toy.

Then the little boy faded,
into a man, dark and jaded,
his anger never close to sated.

Women came and women went,
money earned and money spent,
arrogant, proud, he never bent.

Now I'm old and facing death,
short on time, short on breath,
a blood-red soul in failing flesh.

But I still remember the toy,
the giver and the burst of joy,
which even time could not destroy.

Don't waste your time on empty dreams,
there's never as much time left as it seems,
life, love and health are all that truly gleams.

This render taught me things I didn't know about bryce water textures after all these years of using bryce.

ED. Note: This is dedicated to Ernie, an old guy who lived in our basement when I was five and traded me wondrous, hand carved animal figures for oranges and apples I'd bring him.  All those long years ago and I miss him and his kindness still.
