I do not get how people make abstracts like this in Bryce. It totally escapes me. Oh, I really love it.

I've been wondering how you get the clear metal look. I've tried experimenting with the diffusion color and various different materials, but it doesn't come out nearly as clean as yours. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear it!!

This render is simply stunning. The minimalistic approach with the white and silver is perfectly balanced with the dark marble and the darkness in the gaps. Simply amazing and most definitely a :+fav: of mine. :omg:

Not sure how I did it, but the light texture is the standard metals preset Precious/Brushed Silver and the red egg is Bright/Smoky Mirror

I messed with the sun a bit, but there's no other lightsource.

Ok, that helps a bit. I was wondering about it because my recent submission (Bryce 4) I tried to duplicate some liquid metal feel but I didn't quite get it. I usually don't even use my sun or landscape because I've been following the base of what *DeviantVicky taught in her tut's so was just curious.

(I definitely got the egg. I love that texture myself because it adds some variety into the render. :D)
