Yup, I loves crows They always so arrogant until you shows them something shiny Ferrets are the same way - I would jingle my car keys and then have Rhonda keep them busy until I got the keys hid.
First, they'd tear up the house looking for the keys 'til they found them.
Then, they'd ignore the keys to show me they weren't going to steal them.
Then they'd fight over just who would gets to steals the keys.
Then one of them would grab the keys on one end of the leather and the other would grab the free end and they'd run off and hide them in their hootch, chortling all the way.
They were wonderful, crazy little animals whose names were Cymoril and Ruby, but they had many honorable titles. The Hopple Epple Sisters. Piss and Vinegar. Fire and Brimstone and Hell and Damnation.
Like every other animal I've been lucky enough to share my life with, they were far better friends to me than I was to them. If there is anything after this, I hope to be their friend again, but a better one this time.
This is indeed a beautiful description of the Little Devils activities and I say this with great admiration for their intelligence (who says the bigger the brain, the higgest intelligence isn't accurate at all) joying this title to the others you mention - which are delightful.
At last I hope so too, animals can be, often more loyal than friends or family and they ask so little from us. They are better creatures no doubt.
